Why Are People Buying CBD?
People buy CBD for different reasons. Some need help with mild anxiety while others need intense pain relief.
CBD derives from cannabis. So the effects you feel will be cannabis-related but without the high. CBD products are legal in the UK as well as many places around the world. The reason why is because it contains less than 0.03% THC which is the psychoactive cannabinoid in cannabis. These products are called Industrial Hemp and not cannabis.
Regulation is almost non-existent in the CBD industry which is why you must be careful which products you try. I’ve heard everything from “not feeling the effects” to getting adverse reactions.
Who is Love CBD?
There isn’t any information that I could find about the Love CBD on their website. I had to go out of my way to do research on them.
When the company doesn’t have any information about them on their site, this raises a red flag. I expect to know exactly who the company is, the CEO, the team, and where they are based.
This may not be important for a lot of people but it matters when you’re buying an expensive product. Not all CBD is created equal so you must do your research.
Here’s what I found out when looking deeper into the company. Love CBD started as a small family business in Suffolk and they are one of the biggest sellers in the UK. They work within the legal guidelines to deliver the best products they can.
Their Product Line
So let’s dive into what they sell.
They have a total of 15 products. Sprays, capsules, tinctures, tea, and balms. They explain the differences between their website very clearly.
All of their products are mostly a full spectrum extract which means it contains all the beneficial cannabinoids and terpenes. This type of extract offers the optimal effects if you really want to see a difference.
However, if you have a rare case of extreme THC sensitivity they do have a THC free option which I’ll mention soon.
That’s already a good start. Also, their ingredients are very natural. Oftentimes companies add a lot of filler to make their products taste good.
CBD Oil Sprays
This is their most popular type of product and makes up most of their line. It works the same way as taking CBD oil via a tincture. You put it under your tongue, wait for 45-90 seconds for it to be absorbed, and then swallow.
There are two types of sprays you can get. One called Entourage, Gold, and Dutch.
Their Dutch spray comes from Holland’s best cannabis at the lowest price. Their Entourage oil has all the cannabinoids and terpenes for maximal effect. Lastly, their Gold spray is the same as Entourage except the THC is removed completely.
Each spray delivers a certain amount of CBD depending on the potency of the bottle. The sprays give you a more accurate measurement compared to tinctures.
Love CBD has four capsule products. One that is Entourage, Dutch, double strength, and triple strength.
The Entourage capsules come in bottles of 30 and 60 capsules and there are three different strengths. The strengths available are 10mg, 20mg, 30mg of CBD per capsules.
All of the capsules use the least amount of ingredients possible. Love CBD really seems to emphasize on keeping their products as natural as possible.
CBD tea isn’t a common product. It’s more or less going to work the same way as a capsule. In the UK, tea is a common theme so why not make CBD tea right? I’m sure that’s why they were thinking.
Each box of tea contains 20 teabags. All are caffeine-free so you might still need your morning coffee. The flavors you can get are peppermint, ginger, and chamomile.
It doesn’t say how much CBD it has in it. So I highly suggest you ignore this product if you’re trying to get the benefits of CBD itself.
CBD balm and other topicals aren’t as effective when used alone. Topicals are mostly for people who are a pain in a specific location on their body. So if you have back pain, for example, this may help.
The best thing to do is to combine this with CBD taken orally.
Their balm comes in three jar sizes. 10 grams, 30 grams, and 100 grams. The potency ranges from 100mg of CBD to 1000mg.
The Cost Of CBD Per MG
Understanding the cost of CBD per mg is extremely important. You could be paying a lot of money for no reason. Companies can take advantage of you if you don’t understand what your CBD is worth.
Here is how we grade it:
- Best value: £0.067 or less
- Good deal: £0.068 to $0.11
- Fair deal: £0.12 to £0.16
- Pricey: more than £0.16
I’m only going to grade their sprays because this will give an idea of what all their products are worth.
- 150mg Dutch CBD Oil: £0.069 (good deal)
- 250mg Gold CBD Oil: £0.069 (good deal)
- 300mg Dutch CBD Oil: £0.062 (best value)
- 500mg Gold CBD Oil: £0.038 (best value)
- 500mg Dutch CBD Oil: £0.062 (best value)
- 800mg CBD Entourage Oil Spray: £0.062 (best value)
- 1000mg Gold CBD Oil: £0.038 (best value)
- 1400mg CBD Entourage Oil Spray: £0.054 (best value)
- 2000mg CBD Oil Spray: £0.046 (best value)
So as you can see above they have a good value for CBD. You’re actually getting what it’s worth.
What Customers Are Saying
I looked everywhere online to get reviews from actual customers.
I came across this video on YouTube.
Love CBD doesn’t have any reviews on their website, however, they do have reviews on Facebook and Trustpilot.
On Trustpilot, they have a 4.8 rating with over 4 thousand reviews. I had a look at some of their bad reviews just to see what they said. The most common feedback was:
- Quick delivery but poor quality
- Didn’t have any effect
- Too expensive for what you get
This makeup less than 1% so I take it that most people are enjoying their products.
On Facebook, most people are also saying that they’ve had good service.
Lab-Results: Is Love CBD Legit?
They have lab report pictures on their website but it doesn’t show everything.
The pictures are quite poor quality and they are not up to date. Also, it only tests for cannabinoids and not contaminants.
Lab reports should show both. Verifying cannabinoids confirms it’s potency and testing for contaminants tells you whether it’s safe to take or not.
They claim that their products are tested for contaminants yet it doesn’t show that in the lab reports.
Verdict: Is Love CBD Any Good?
Love CBD is a good brand however the only thing that let us down was their lab test. They don’t lab-test all of their products.
Also, the biggest red flag we saw on the lab test that they show is it doesn’t test for contaminants. This poses a health risk and it’s not something that we recommend skipping over.
Hopefully, they can get this sorted out so that I can do a review update.
The Best CBD Brand Right Now
Although Love CBD is a good brand, they aren’t the best. The brand that I recommend to all my readers is CBDPure.
They sell oils, capsules, creams, and even pet oils. All of their products are lab-tested including the one you buy. You just enter in your batch number and it will give you a full lab report.
This is the most trusted brand by us. They include a 90-day money-back guarantee and they ship to the UK so you have nothing to lose.
